Organizational Structure


IUSSTF is as an autonomous, bilateral, non-governmental, non-profit organization, which aims to facilitate, seed and promote Indo-US bilateral collaborations in Science and Technology.

IUSSTF functions as an autonomous, bilateral, non-governmental, non-profit organization and is managed by the Executive Director from its headquarters in New Delhi.  To ensure that the activities undertaken by the Forum conform to the highest standards of excellence, a joint Governing Body, consisting of seven Indian and seven American researchers and government representatives, provides leadership to the Forum.  The India Science and Technology Partnership (INSTP) is the US partner of the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum based at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC.

Governing Structure

IUSSTF functions as an autonomous, bilateral, non-governmental, non-profit organization.  Headquartered in New Delhi, it is managed by the Executive Director under the leadership of a bilateral Governing Body and with the support of the India Science and Technology Partnership (INSTP).

India Science and Technology Partnership (INSTP) is the US partner of the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum based at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC. INSTP works as an outreach and representative arm of IUSSTF, supports US-based activities, and serves as the primary fund raising vehicle for IUSSTF in the US.
